Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Robert Fuller Jr. and wanted to bring up something that has been bothering me. As someone with a grandparent living in a similar community, I can’t help but feel anxious about the security measures at senior living facilities. From what I've read, Cogir Potomac Senior Living was considered a secure place, yet this terrible event still unfolded. It makes me wonder about how safety protocols are actually enforced and if there are any vulnerabilities we aren’t aware of. The footage released by the police shows a person of interest, but it’s unsettling that no clear identity has been established from it yet. I worry it could take longer than expected to capture the individual responsible. More than anything, my heart goes out to Mr. Fuller’s family and friends. It’s tough enough dealing with health issues at that age, let alone having such a horrific incident occur. If anyone else has experience with security in these types of facilities or insight into how they might manage to ensure residents’ safety, I'd appreciate your thoughts. Let’s hope for justice and that his family finds some comfort during this incredibly difficult time.
