Has anyone else been thinking about the location where all of this happened? It raised a red flag for me almost immediately. Cutlers Court isn't somewhere you'd expect such violence, and it's so close to Broad River Road where many people go about their daily routines. As someone who's lived in the Columbia area for a few years, this really hits close to home. I can't imagine what Mr. Bir's family must be feeling amidst this shock and chaos. It's just a sobering reminder that even the most ordinary things, like selling a phone, can become dangerous. I hope this tragedy encourages more caution and pushes us all to think carefully about where and how we conduct these types of exchanges. Sending strength and support to all who knew and loved Shihadeh.
