It's so distressing to read about Dontay Smith's case. I just can't stop thinking about how the conflicting location reports could be affecting the investigation. I mean, how can they pinpoint what happened when no one seems sure where it even happened? The 300 block of K Street versus the 900 block of 3rd Street seems like an important detail to clear up. I hope the detectives can sort this out quickly. I've read that sometimes even a small discrepancy in location can cause big delays in gathering evidence. If anyone knows someone in that area, maybe you could check if their cameras caught anything? Every bit helps. My thoughts go out to Dontay’s family and friends during this impossibly difficult time.
