I can’t stop thinking about the tragic loss of Lori and Evan Simonds. I lived just a few streets away from Joanne Circle, and although I didn’t know them personally, it feels like this has impacted everyone around here. I wanted to take a moment to talk about how important it is that our community is coming together to support Lori's daughter. I can only imagine the pain she must be feeling, losing her mother and brother in such a senseless act. I've seen local groups and friends set up meal trains and donation funds to help her with expenses during this time. It's heartening to see everyone rally together to show her she’s not alone. It reminds me that even in the darkest moments, community connections can offer a bit of light and solace. If anyone else knows of any ways to help or ongoing support efforts, please share. Community strength can make a difference, even if it can't change what happened.
