I can't stop thinking about the brave little souls who were stuck in that terrifying situation and had the courage to call 911. It's unfathomable what those kids went through, witnessing such a horrific scene and feeling so helpless. I am incredibly relieved they managed to stay hidden and unharmed physically, but it breaks me to think about the emotional scars they will carry from this tragedy. The oldest, only 12, showing such presence of mind to call for help, is absolute strength under unimaginable pressure. Can you imagine being that young and in a situation so dire? It's a harsh reminder of the urgency to provide support systems for children who endure such trauma. I truly hope the community and authorities step up to offer them the care and counseling they desperately need moving forward. My heart goes out to them and all the families dealing with this profound loss.
