I can't get over how tragic this situation is for Jose Garcia's family and friends. Just thinking about the random burst of violence that took his life makes my stomach turn. One thing I find myself wondering about is the minivan and the people who were with him. What kind of connection did they have with those men on the street? Seems like Garcia was caught up in something that spiraled out of control way too fast. I can’t imagine how those who cared for him must feel right now, trying to piece together why this happened. Sending thoughts of strength to them as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
