Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Shawnquanice Q. Kimbrough, and it's just been incredibly hard to wrap my head around this senseless tragedy. I wanted to touch on an aspect that hasn't been discussed much yet: the impact on the medical campus community. Imagine going about your day-to-day life, heading for a medical appointment, or just working on campus, and then something like this happens. It's so unsettling to think of how quickly environments where we usually feel safe can change. I hope the university is providing counseling and support to students and staff who were around that area. Let's keep everyone affected in our thoughts as they navigate through this difficult time.
