Hey everyone, I couldn't stop thinking about the community events that Irease, or Billy Resio as we knew him, used to organize and participate in. It's just so tragic that someone with that kind of positive influence was taken from us in such a brutal way. I attended one of his charity gigs last summer, and he talked about how important it was for him to give back to Durham. He genuinely cared about uplifting the youth here. The lack of information about what happened is unsettling. I feel for his family, and I can't imagine what they must be going through. It's tough to see someone who was working towards building something greater for his community get snatched away like this. Is anyone else planning to attend that vigil they're organizing at the community center? I think it might be a good way to stand together and show our support while also demanding justice. If anyone hears any updates, please share. Let's hope they find those responsible soon. Stay safe everyone.
