I've been thinking a lot about the location where Kianna Slater was found after the shooting—at the Marathon gas station on Napier Avenue. I'm curious if anyone knows more about the area and whether it's known to be a trouble spot or just a random location the driver chose in a panic. It breaks my heart to think of how scared she must have been in those final moments. I hope the driver did everything they could to try and save her. If anyone is from Macon or knows the area well, I’d love to hear your thoughts or any insights you might have. My condolences to Kianna’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
