Hey everyone,

I've been following the case of Derek Dangerfield, and one thing that really sticks with me is how little we know about the neighborhood dynamics on Penhurst Avenue. It’s a shame because understanding the local community could give us some insight into what might have happened. From what I've read, Mr. Dangerfield was a longtime resident, which suggests he likely knew a fair number of people in the area. Does anyone who's familiar with that part of Baltimore have insights into how people interacted there? Was it a close-knit community, or more of a place where people kept to themselves? It might help us all piece together the social environment leading up to that tragic night.
Also, I can’t help but feel for Mr. Dangerfield's family during this time. They must be going through so much right now, with no clear answers or closure. If anyone has suggestions on ways that the community can support them, it would be great to hear. Thanks.
