I can't seem to wrap my head around how quickly a family dispute can spiral out of control and end in such tragedy. My thoughts are with the Blount family during this incredibly difficult time. It's hard to imagine the pain of losing two members of your family in one day over a disagreement. I read that the woman who intervened by shooting Jeramie Blount was in the apartment during the initial altercation. I can’t help but wonder what her relationship to the brothers is and what prompted her to step in with such drastic action. Was she trying to protect herself or someone else in the apartment? It's a complicated case, and I hope the investigation brings some clarity and answers for everyone involved. It's just so sad to see another case of violence breaking apart a family.
