I can’t stop thinking about how Tarik tried to calm down Spencer McAloney, even in such a tense and chaotic situation. It says a lot about who Tarik was — just a solid guy trying to keep everything from spiraling out of control. His attempts to de-escalate the situation show he genuinely cared about the people around him, even when it meant putting himself at risk. It’s devastating that his compassion and bravery ended in such an unimaginable way. For his family and friends, I can only imagine how much of a void his loss has left. It's beyond unfair. Sending my thoughts to all who knew and loved him.
