Hey everyone, I've been following the case of John Brittain's murder in Anchorage and something just doesn't sit right with me about the circumstances surrounding his death. I was looking at the maps of the Fairview neighborhood where the shooting happened, and it struck me as a place where someone would be on high alert, especially at that hour. Given John's history, I wonder if he might've sensed danger that night. Did anyone else think it’s possible he knew something was about to go down? Maybe he had been getting threats, or there was tension building in the days leading up to the shooting. I feel like someone in that community might have seen or heard something. My heart goes out to John's family and friends as they try to make sense of this tragedy. It must be incredibly difficult not having answers. Let's hope APD gets the leads they need and soon. Any thoughts on what might have gone unnoticed in terms of the community dynamics or relationships John might have had? Stay safe, everyone.
