Did anyone else catch the vigil for Zynaija Thomas? It was incredibly moving to see how the Florence community came together to honor her memory. The turnout was just massive, and hearing the stories and tributes from her friends and family really painted a picture of the vibrant and caring young woman she was. It’s just beyond tragic that her life and the life of her unborn child were cut so short. It’s times like these that remind us to hold our loved ones close and advocate for change to prevent such senseless violence. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time. Has there been any update on supporting the family or community initiatives in her memory? Hoping there are more ways we can help and prevent such devastation in the future.
