Tonya's case has been on my mind a lot. I keep thinking about the dangers people face when trying to help someone out. From what I understand, she hired Pierre Byrd to drive a truck for her business and even gave him a place to stay. It seems she truly wanted to help him get back on his feet. But that's the risk sometimes, isn’t it? Extending a helping hand only to have it exploited by someone who doesn't appreciate it. Tonya's generosity should be remembered. She was clearly someone who wanted to make a positive impact, even if it came with risks. Does anyone know if there were any warning signs about Byrd's behavior leading up to this tragic event? I can't imagine the pain her family is going through, losing such a caring and selfless person in such a brutal way.
