I’ve been following the discussion about the tragic incident in Spanish Lake, and one detail that caught my attention is the role of the ShotSpotter technology. It's chilling to think that without it, authorities might not have been alerted to the gunfire so quickly. I wonder how much more time might have passed before someone would have reported the incident, given the time of night it happened. This technology possibly gave first responders a fighting chance to help Tajean Johnson, even if the outcome was sadly not what we hoped for. I can't imagine the pain the families of Tajean and Damarius must be feeling. Knowing that there’s still no suspect in custody only adds to the anguish and uncertainty. If anyone in this community knows something or saw anything that night, please consider reaching out to authorities. It’s vital for the families and for the community to find some sense of justice.
