I stumbled across this case online and it really struck me, especially considering the problem with unsolved cases in the area. I keep thinking about Alex's family and what they must be enduring with the holidays just passing and still no answers. It's chilling to think how someone could be taken from their loved ones so suddenly, and yet there seems to be no clear path to justice for him. Does anyone have any more information on whether the local community is rallying around the family or if there have been any gatherings in his memory? Often community involvement can lead to new insights or witnesses coming forward. It’s just such a tragedy, and I hope Alex’s family finds some comfort during this difficult time. If anyone in the Charlotte area has heard anything, even the smallest detail might make a difference.
