I’ve been thinking a lot about the sense of community in Flint, especially in tough times like these. Dominick Wright was a familiar face around the west side, and from what I've heard, he had a way of making everyone feel welcome, even if you'd never met him before. It’s just so jarring to think someone like that could be taken from us in such a senseless way. I remember attending community events and seeing him there, always supporting local causes and encouraging others to do the same. It breaks my heart to see a person who contributed so much to their community lost to violence. It just makes me wonder how this impacts the local morale. It's like, if someone so involved and caring isn’t safe, what does that mean for others? If anyone has thoughts on how we can better protect our community or ideas about what more we could be doing to prevent these tragedies, I’d love to hear. It’s crucial we rally together and show that this isn't the kind of place where violence prevails. My thoughts are with his family and friends in their time of grief. Please, if anyone has information that might help solve this case, don’t hesitate to come forward. Let’s help each other heal and find justice for Dominick.
