It's incredibly sad how senseless acts of violence can cut short such promising lives. I can't stop thinking about Bradi's friends who were in the car with him that day. It must have been terrifying to have a normal day turn into chaos within seconds. The fact that they managed to escape and call for help shows incredible composure for such young individuals, but I can't imagine the trauma they now have to carry with them.
I've been following the updates and it's somewhat of a relief that the suspect was apprehended so quickly thanks to a solid description from witnesses. However, it leaves me worrying about the trauma the witnesses and survivors have to deal with, knowing someone familiar suddenly turned into a threat.
I hope the community can rally around them and provide the support they need, even as they grapple with their grief over Bradi. It’s moments like these we must come together to support each other. Thoughts go out to Bradi’s family and friends, and I'm deeply sorry for their loss. ?
