I’ve been thinking a lot about the neighbors who might’ve heard the commotion. Living so nearby, they must be dealing with their own shock and confusion, especially since there were no previous incidents reported at the house. It’s unsettling to think that such a tragic event could happen completely out of the blue. I can only imagine how knowing the couple, even if just in passing, adds another layer of difficulty for them to process. It's a reminder of how domestic issues can remain hidden, even from those right next door. I hope the community can find some way to support each other during this tough time. If anyone from the area has ideas on how to help or support local initiatives against domestic violence, please share.
