I’ve been following Tiadira’s case and can’t stop thinking about how the group she was with managed to leave her behind. I get that it can be every person for themselves out there, but it’s truly puzzling. Like, how do you just leave someone unconscious, knowing the dangers of the desert and all? It makes me wonder if there were tensions within the group or if panic set in when they crossed at Sasabe. Is it common for groups to be so close to Topawa and then split up like that? Would love to hear thoughts on how these journeys often play out.
