Wow, I’m at a loss for words with this one—a truly senseless and devastating tragedy. I was particularly struck by the fact that everyone involved was so young and enlisted in the Navy, dedicating their lives to serve our country. Jordyn’s life, and the other sailor's life, were cut short in such a violent and unexpected manner. Does anyone have any insight into how the military community at NAS Jacksonville is reacting to this? I can only imagine how hard this must be for their fellow service members and friends. It's such a tight-knit community, and losing someone in such horrific circumstances must be shaking them to their core. How does the Navy typically handle situations like this in terms of support for their personnel? My heart goes out to all who knew and loved Jordyn and the other victim. This is just so difficult to comprehend.
