I’ve been following the case at Greystone Apartments, and I just keep thinking about how tragic it is for the families involved, especially with the young child who was also caught in the crossfire. It really makes you wonder how a situation could spiral so out of control to result in such violence. What really struck me was hearing how this all started over a verbal fight and a vehicle sale—something that seems so insignificant now in the grand scheme of things. It breaks my heart to think that Demario's life ended in such a senseless way, and his brother's life is forever changed. The holidays will never be the same for this family, and my thoughts are with the 11-year-old who experienced something no child ever should. I hope the community can come together to provide some support to them during this incredibly difficult time.
