I’ve been following the case of Milton Richie, and I’m struck by how quickly the community has come together both in grief and action. It's important to remember how someone as young as Milton was actively involved in the local events like the Dirt Bowl basketball tournament. It’s a touching reminder of how much he cared about his neighborhood. This makes the incident all the more devastating. I can't wrap my head around how a 15-year-old can be involved in something so tragic. It’s truly a call for us as a society to look deeper into what's going on with our youth. On another note, this case has made me appreciate how vital community events like the Dirt Bowl are. They bring people together and highlight the positive impact individuals like Milton have. I hope justice is served, and more importantly, I hope the community finds a way to heal and possibly prevent tragic events like this in the future. My thoughts are with Milton’s family, friends, and everyone affected.
