Hey everyone, I've been following the tragedy at Simpson Park and something just won’t leave my mind—the emotional trauma this must have inflicted on Terry Loden's family, especially his granddaughter who was unfortunately on the call during the incident. I can't even begin to imagine how traumatic that would be for a child to hear such turmoil and loss over the phone. It's one thing to lose a beloved family member, but experiencing it in a way where you're so helpless must be completely overwhelming. I know it's hard to make sense of such a senseless act of violence, but I hope Loden’s family can find some semblance of peace in the aftermath. The community's support will hopefully serve as a pillar of strength for them. Does anyone else know if there's been any specific support set up for the family in Gainesville? I think rallying around them could be really beneficial.
