I recently came across the case of Pedro who went missing near the border, and I can't stop thinking about the challenges of searching such vast desert areas. Has anyone here ever been involved in search and rescue efforts in the desert? How do teams even begin to tackle the logistics of conducting searches in such unforgiving terrain? I imagine the heat and rough landscape must pose significant hurdles. If any of you have insights or resources on effective search strategies in these environments, it could really help in understanding how teams might be approaching finding Pedro. It's truly a puzzling aspect of missing person cases in regions like this.
