I wanted to talk about Karon Slaughter’s case because it’s really stuck with me. It’s frustrating and deeply saddening to think about how his murder remains unsolved after all these years. I can’t imagine what his family and friends must be going through, living with so many unanswered questions. From what I understand, his death shed light on a broader issue in Buffalo during that time. The East Side was experiencing a tragic spike in violence. It’s concerning how some communities continue struggling with this and how justice seems elusive for so many victims and their families. I often wonder if there are any witnesses who haven't come forward yet. It’s crucial to keep talking about cases like this to remind everyone that these victims deserve justice. Karon’s story matters, and I sincerely hope one day we’ll see progress not just for him, but for all the unresolved cases in the city.
