Has anyone else heard the rumor about the neighborhood witnessing the getaway? I was scrolling through some local news comments, and a few folks from around Myers Road mentioned seeing a car speeding away that night. Apparently, it looked like an older model sedan, gray or silver, but I haven't seen any confirmation from the authorities about it. It's awful that Kymeek, who seemed like such a kind soul, was hurt in a place he should have felt safe. Justice needs to be served, and I hope someone has caught something on a doorbell camera or dashcam to help tighten the noose around the suspect. To Kymeek's family and friends, please know that the community stands with you in this terrible time. Sending love from Summerville.
I've been following the tragic case of Kymeek Traylor, and I can't stop thinking about the role of security systems in stores like Myers Market. While I'm grateful the owner was able to call the authorities so quickly thanks to the security footage, it makes me wonder about the overall effectiveness of these systems in preventing such tragedies. It’s haunting to think that even with surveillance, this senseless act still happened.
I wish more could be done to bolster security in small businesses to protect hardworking individuals like Kymeek, who was just doing his job. Sending love and strength to Kymeek’s family and friends. I hope they find peace and justice as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
