I just came across this tragic case, and I'm struck by the lack of additional details surrounding Johann and Kaethe Oesterreicher's deaths. I can't help but wonder about their lives leading up to that terrible morning. From what I gathered, Johann had a remarkable career and was quite respected in his field of chemistry and biochemistry. It's truly sad to think about how someone with such a profound impact on the scientific community could be involved in something so devastating. While the police seem to have a theory about what happened, I think many of us are left with questions. What could have led to such an incident? Did anyone notice any signs of distress in the couple’s lives? Was there anything that friends or family observed that might shed more light on this? It's hard to believe that an esteemed academic life ended this way. My thoughts are with those who knew them, as they must be seeking answers to these same questions.
