I've read that Rodrigo was a senior at Pathways High, and knowing how tight-knit school communities can be, I can't imagine the weight his classmates and teachers are feeling right now. These are supposed to be the best years of their lives, and instead, they're dealing with the loss of a friend in such a violent manner. It's important for us as a community to rally around these kids and offer whatever support we can, whether it's providing a listening ear or advocating for more safety in the neighborhood. I really hope the authorities can find those responsible so that Rodrigo’s family, friends, and the community can find some form of justice and solace.
