I keep thinking about the gun involved in Lewis Torres's murder. The Glock 9mm found in Perry Lynn Dixon’s apartment is such a haunting piece of this case. It’s unnerving to think how this weapon, small but deadly, was hidden away in an air vent like some dark secret. I feel for Lewis's family—they’re dealing with so much pain and the remnants of what should’ve been just memories of joy and laughter are now overshadowed by this tragic event. It's disturbing how something so devastating can ripple through the lives of those connected, turning their world upside down overnight. I can’t help but wonder why Dixon felt the need to use a gun. What could push someone to such an extreme? Was there some underlying feud, or was it all some heat-of-the-moment insanity? It’s comforting to know that investigators seem to have gathered solid evidence. Finding Dixon hiding and the gun tucked away feels like a step towards justice for Lewis and his friends. Still, it’s hard not to think about all the lives impacted—not just those directly involved but everyone connected to them. Thoughts? Anyone else considered how much this kind of violence reflects larger issues in our community?

I can't stop thinking about how the music must’ve stopped so suddenly at that party on El Paso Road. It's chilling to imagine the scene. Lew seemed like the kind of guy who would light up the room when he walked in, and I'm sure he was just as loved on the dance floor. My heart goes out to his friends who had to witness such a terrible moment for him. I read elsewhere in the forum that Perry Lynn Dixon was seen arguing with someone before everything happened. Does anyone know if there's a link between Dixon and the people at the party? It's so hard to wrap my head around why someone would do this. Praying for justice for Lew and healing for those affected.
