Did anyone else see the recent interview with Jayson's mother on the local news? It was so moving and really hit home how much this senseless act shattered their family. She spoke so lovingly about Jayson, sharing stories about how he was studying to become a chef and had such a bright future ahead of him. Watching her hold back tears while talking about her son was difficult; it seemed like she was searching for some understanding or closure. I can’t even begin to comprehend the pain they're going through. It's just so devastating to think about the ripple effect this one incident has had on so many lives. Her strength is truly remarkable, and I hope the investigation can bring some answers and justice for Jayson and his family. Sending them all my thoughts during this unimaginable time.
