Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the children who were present during the tragic incident at Fox Hollow. I can’t even begin to imagine how terrifying it must have been for them, seeing something so violent unfold right in front of their eyes. Kids usually go to these games and practices to have fun, enjoy sports, and spend time with their friends. It’s supposed to be a place of joy and laughter, not fear and danger. I'm especially concerned about the emotional impact this might have on them, particularly Grosdidier’s children and any other kids who witnessed the shooting. Does anyone know if there’s been any discussion about counseling or support services for these young witnesses? I hope there are efforts being made to support them in processing this traumatic event. My heart goes out to all the families involved. It’s just unimaginable to have to deal with such violence in what should be safe, community spaces.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the bystanders who witnessed this tragic event at the Fox Hollow Golf Course. Particularly the kids who were there for a morning of soccer and fun—now forever changed by something they should never have had to see. It’s unimaginable. I wonder what kind of support is being offered to those young ones and their families to process such trauma. It’s a stark reminder of how quickly routine family outings can turn into something unthinkable. I really hope the community rallies around these kids and offers them the resources they need to heal. If anyone knows of any support groups or community resources stepping up, please share. Let's ensure every person touched by this horror—from Timothy’s family to the children who watched—receives support. My thoughts are with them all.
