Hey everyone. I’ve been following Jarad Winston’s case pretty closely, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact this has had on his community. It’s been really bothering me how senseless this all feels, especially when I think about how his family and friends must be navigating this nightmare. Does anyone know if there have been any initiatives or gatherings in his memory? Sometimes communities come together in the wake of such a tragedy to support each other and to keep the victim's memory alive. Maybe some vigils or community meetings have been organized to address the violence in that area? It feels like a moment where collective grief could forge some meaningful solidarity and perhaps push for change. What a devastating loss for everyone who knew and loved him. I hope that eventually, answers come to light and there’s some semblance of closure for those closest to him.
