It's so terrible to hear about the tragedy that befell Sharod Reid. I can only imagine the pain his family and friends are going through right now. I was thinking about how this case, and others like it, keeps highlighting the desperate need for community support and cooperation with law enforcement. It's crucial that witnesses or anyone with information feel safe and encouraged to come forward and share what they know. Has anyone heard if there are any community meetings scheduled to discuss what happened or to promote safety in that area? If we could create a united front, perhaps we could make a real difference in preventing further violence. My thoughts are with Sharod's family during this difficult time.
