I’ve been following the case of Ke’yontae Young, and it's just really struck me how quickly everything escalated in those days following the tragedy. It’s chilling to think of these events spanning multiple locations, putting so many lives in danger in the midst of what should've been a normal day for Ke’yontae and others in Marengo County. I can't help but feel for Ke’yontae's family and the entire Thomasville High School community. With Almonte’ Laquez Lewis and Jarvis Da’quan Packer in custody, it seems like law enforcement acted swiftly, but I wonder how these rivalries among young people got so out of hand. It’s a stark reminder of the unfortunate reality of gang violence and its ripple effects on innocent lives. Hoping for peace and healing for all those affected.
