Has anyone else been thinking about the impact this might have on the SLU community? I can’t imagine how unsettling it must be for students and staff who are so used to feeling safe in that area, only to find out about a tragic incident happening so close by. It’s understandable to feel anxious when something like this occurs practically in your backyard. I’m really hoping for some kind of community outreach or discussion that can address safety concerns. It's crucial to rebuild a sense of security and stability for those living and studying around the university after such an event. Sending love to Darrell’s family and everyone impacted by this senseless violence. We need more support systems in place for young people to prevent these situations from spiraling into tragedy.
