Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Lawanna J. Lewis, and something's been weighing heavily on my mind. It's just devastating to think that she was out there simply doing her job, working as a Lyft driver to provide for herself or her loved ones, and ended up in such a terrible situation. I keep thinking about how vulnerable rideshare drivers might be, especially during night shifts. Lawanna's death is a chilling reminder of the risks they face on the job. I've been reading that her car was quickly found in Houston, which is quite a distance from where she was last known to be working. It makes you wonder if this was a random attack or if she was somehow targeted. If it was premeditated, there may be an urgent need for rideshare companies to improve safety protocols for drivers. My heart goes out to Lawanna’s family. I hope they find some solace in seeing justice served for what happened to her. Stay safe out there, everyone.
