Death by Force

Lawanna J. Lewis, 62, a White female, was found dead late in the morning on October 10, 2025, along the 200 block of Trousdale Road in Westlake, Louisiana. Investigators later determined she had been working as a Lyft driver when she was shot multiple times in the head and left in a roadside ditch, her vehicle missing from the scene. Although her body was discovered on October 10, a funeral notice lists her date of death as October 9, 2025, and notes that she lived in nearby Lake Charles.
