With a gathering large enough for a dispute to spill out into the street and become deadly, surely people saw or heard something that could help law enforcement piece together what happened. I understand the fear or reluctance to come forward, especially if people are worried about repercussions, but imagine if it was their loved one. Dempsey's family deserves closure, and it’s crucial for the community to rally around them to bring peace and justice. Thoughts go out to Delanese Anderson and the rest of his family—no parent should have to plead for answers like this.
