I just can’t wrap my head around the senselessness of Anthony Jackson’s murder. To think he was just out enjoying a game with friends at The Greatest, completely unaware of the chaos that would cut his life short. I’ve read that there might have been a dispute earlier that evening, but it’s tragic that someone completely uninvolved, like Anthony, ended up paying the ultimate price for someone else’s anger. The whole community seems on edge since this happened. It’s unsettling to realize how quickly a normal night can turn into a nightmare, and I can't imagine the devastation for his friends who were there and his family who now have to live with this loss. Have any more details emerged about Daniel Dennis and why he might have targeted the bar after being kicked out? I just hope justice is swift and comprehensive, not just for Anthony’s loved ones, but for everyone in Hawthorne dealing with these violent events. Sending support to everyone affected.
