It’s incredibly tragic what happened to Melvin Bass and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I keep thinking about how quick everything must have unfolded outside that gas station. It’s chilling. Given how busy gas stations usually are, it’s hard to believe no one was able to step in or help before things took such a deadly turn. What’s haunting me is how a place many of us visit regularly could turn into such a crime scene. I hope the surveillance footage from the area can really give police the insight needed to catch everyone involved. It’s terrifying to think the ones responsible haven’t all been found yet. I’m holding out hope that the detectives will continue to piece everything together and bring justice for Melvin soon. If anyone reading this knows anything, please share it with the authorities.
