Hey everyone, I've been following the case of the missing person last seen crossing the Mexico-US border near Ajo or Sasabe, and I can't stop thinking about the logistics of that crossing. I've visited the area a few times, and it's pretty remote and rugged. I'm curious about how often they patrol those stretches, especially given the current political climate. Would anyone here with experience or knowledge about border security be able to shed some light on what a solo crossing would entail? I know there're cameras and checkpoints, but it's such a vast area. It's puzzling how someone can go missing in such a monitored zone. What do others think about this factor in the case?
