I can't stop thinking about how Michael Dodge was simply doing his job when he was so tragically killed. It seems like he was a hardworking contractor who dedicated himself to handling these tough foreclosure tasks. Reading about his family’s statements, it's clear that he was out there trying to provide for himself and possibly his loved ones. The whole situation makes you reflect on how vulnerable these types of jobs can make someone, especially when there’s a misunderstanding or confrontation involved. Does anyone have insights into how these types of assignments are generally handled to ensure safety? Is there usually a protocol or certain precautions taken before entering a potentially occupied property? I'm sure his family is struggling to comprehend how a routine job could end so tragically, and it makes me wonder how these incidents might be prevented in the future. Sending love and strength to all who knew him.
