Has anyone else been thinking about how the timing of everything might have played a role in this tragedy with Trae Leaks? The way I see it, he was in such an exciting transition period in his life. Just graduated, was probably still celebrating with friends and family, and had his mind set on college and football. It seems like he had such a bright future ahead of him, but then this senseless act cut it all short. I'm wondering if the fact that he was in this vulnerable, transitioning phase made him more susceptible to being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s just so devastating to think about how quickly everything happened. This was someone who should have been looking forward to new experiences and challenges, not dealing with violence or danger. My heart goes out to his family and friends who have to navigate this loss. It must be so incredibly difficult to go from celebrating milestones to mourning an irreplaceable loss so quickly. Keeping them all in my thoughts as they continue to seek justice for Trae and try to find some semblance of peace.
