I still can't wrap my head around the tragic events that took place on June 11 involving Dameon Jerrod Green and James Johnson. It's haunting to think about how such a night unfolded. I wanted to bring up something that's been on my mind regarding that barefoot man found bleeding nearby. It feels a little odd that someone who might be involved or at least witnessed something was in such a distressed state. Sometimes in these situations, initial appearances can be deceiving, and it makes me wonder what led to his condition. When reading about how the police followed his blood trail back to the Spring Avenue home, it almost seemed like something out of a movie. But this is real life, and it's a nightmare for Dameon’s and James' families and friends. I can't imagine the pain Dameon’s family is feeling right now, preparing for memorial services when they should have been planning family gatherings and celebrations. If anyone in the neighborhood noticed anything before or after the incident, or if someone has a piece of information that might seem insignificant, please find a way to come forward. Sometimes, it's the little details that can crack a case wide open. Keeping the families involved in your thoughts could be one small way to honor the lives lost.
