I keep thinking about the small details of this case, like the fact that Jose was found in an alley in Deep Ellum. This is an area that's always been known for its nightlife, but it's also become known for criminal activity after dark. It's tragic that a night out in what should be a lively and energetic part of town cost Jose his life. Does anyone know if the pickup truck mentioned was his own or belonged to someone else? It seems like a crucial piece of the puzzle. The idea that nearby businesses had to lock down and that patrons were running for cover just paints such a vivid picture of chaos and fear that night. If only someone saw something that could help identify who did this. I feel for Jose's family and friends as they wait for answers. It's not fair that they have to experience this loss. Hoping the community comes forward to help solve this and bring some peace to those who knew and loved him.
