I've been thinking a lot about the surveillance footage in Jamie Windom's case. It's baffling how technology can both protect and uncover the truth. In this instance, it seems to lay bare the narrative presented by Julious Jamal Griffin. It's so hard to comprehend why anyone would use such extreme violence against a fleeing teenager. It's awful imagining Jamie's fear in those moments. Just a normal summer evening, and then everything changes so drastically. The community's support is crucial, not only for his family but also to ensure that justice is served accurately and fairly. I hope that the ongoing investigation builds a comprehensive picture of what really happened that night. Sending all my thoughts to Jamie's loved ones - they must be going through so much right now.
