It's been on my mind since I first read about it—those poor kids who were in the house when everything went down. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma and confusion they must be experiencing. While the whole community is grappling with this, these little ones are left to process the unthinkable. I'm thankful they're now safe with family, but I hope they're getting all the emotional support and professional help they need to heal. This whole situation is a stark reminder of how domestic violence doesn't just affect those directly involved—it reverberates out to touch so many lives, especially the innocent ones. Keeping those kids in my thoughts.
