It’s really tough coming to terms with Derrick Davis’s tragic death. I noticed in some local reports and discussions online that there’s a mention of security footage from nearby businesses around Lee Street. Does anyone know if there’s been any updates on that front? It seems like it could be pivotal in identifying who was around at the time. I can’t imagine the pain his family and friends are going through without concrete answers. It’s just so frustrating to see the community struggling with this uncertainty. Hoping someone out there steps up with information soon.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Derrick Davis's case, and it's hard to grasp the impact this tragedy has had on the Greenville community. I've been thinking a lot about the role that community surveillance might play in solving cases like this. Nowadays, so many neighborhoods have cameras set up by residents and local businesses. I wonder if there are any cameras in the vicinity of the 3500 block of Lee Street that might have captured any valuable footage the night Derrick was shot.
If anyone in that area has access to cameras or knows of businesses that do, it might be worth checking through footage from that evening. Sometimes, even the smallest snippet of video can provide critical insights into the movements around the time of the incident. I really hope someone who might have witnessed or captured something will come forward. Derrick's family deserves answers, and hopefully, this can help push the investigation forward.
Sending thoughts to everyone affected.
